In 2015, I was looking for work, I asked my friend Irene of Face Painting by Irene, who I have known for a very long time if she needed any help. I have always been quite artistic and loved drawing and painting, so thought I would give it a go. In October 2015 Glitter Tattoos by Sarah was born. I eventually changed the name to Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos by Sarah, original I know. Now in 2026 its nearly 11 years that I have been in business and I absolutely love what I do. Bringing a smile to my customers faces when they see my work. Thank you to Irene has supported me from the start. We still work together at large events, there is nothing better than working with your best mate!
I have met some wonderful people over the years. I love working with those with disabilities, especially Autism, as my son has high functioning Autism. I understand the hard work, stress but also how proud they make you when they achieve something. I always take the time to explain what I am doing step by step, giving them time to digest what I am doing and not to make them feel overwhelmed, knowing that they are sensitive to certain things, such as sound, touch or smells etc. Treating them as a person not just seeing the disability. I work closely with the charity Ready Steady Go! who are an amazing source of support for not just the children and young adults but their parents/carers. Spending time with them is so rewarding.I am looking forward to growing my business and to keep doing what I love.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page and please leave a review if you have had a face paint or tattoo off me at a party or an event. It really does help my business.
Thank you, Sarah.
